Prices in Greece 2021

In Greece, as in our country, you pay in euros and it is a country where prices are very similar to ours. Although the recent crisis has caused prices in shops to rise, they are gradually returning to normal as the situation improves. In general, the price for the average purchase in a city store are slightly more expensive than in our country. However, the difference is not dramatic and of course it depends on where and what you buy. In Greece, it is definitely worth buying home-made quality products such as oils, olives, cheeses and some fruits. However, visitors will have to pay extra for cigarettes and restaurants.
